Greater Birmingham RFU invite you to >
A full Buffet will be available courtesy of North Midlands RFU provided by Veseyans Rugby Club.
A drink at the bar courtesy of Greater Birmingham RFU.
New initiative next season for GMS online matchday cards. GMS Training will be held at the start of this meeting.
Avoid costly mistakes, the RFU want this to work, expect leniency only until Jan 2019.
Therefore our RDOs have agreed to provide some training on GMS, we are willing to invite 3 or 4 relevant individuals from all your Clubs who may need to be/or are involved with GMS input. I would suggest that in addition to Club officers, Clubs may also wish to involve their Data Officer, Fixture Secretary (Snr & M&J), Ticket Officer etc.
As you are aware GMS is becoming increasingly important in our Rugby lives and as with all things IT 'input rubbish, get rubbish out' and where important decisions are now being made centrally about your Clubs and the Game generally on the basis of GMS information held we need to try and get it right and encourage usage not least to obtain the benefits and protection afforded by GMS in relation to GDPR compliance.
A chance to voice your concerns and talk rugby!
